Out Of Focus TV is an indie TV music video channel based in Oakland, California. We bring you original series, music videos, mini-docs, live music, comedy and curated playlists for your enjoyment. OOFTV started in 2011 when Loren was wrapping up his first series "Welcome to the Stage" and dreaming of the day he could share his shows as easily as flipping on a channel. Tina missed watching music videos, Saturday morning cartoons, and the dream of what MTV shoulda been. Loren and Tina combined their love of MUSIC + VIDEO and began documenting shows and stories throughout the Bay Area. With the help of friends, musicians, and artists who contributed videos, shorts, and original content, OOFTV has grown beyond its YouTube channel to smart TVs, mobile, web, and home-made boom boxes. So lean back, relax, and support indie TV!

Submit your videos to OOFTV! Send a link to your music video, short, comedy, animation, or anything you'd like to share. We're always hungry for content and creative partners.
OOFTV is looking for volunteers/interns! If you're interested in learning and contributing to videography, social media, graphic design, or post production, join us and we'll teach you the ropes and maybe help fulfill your creative projects along the way. Depending upon experience and interest, you can learn Final Cut X, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Video Compression, Camera/Audio skills, Media Communications, Event Planning, or whatever else we come across in the field of indie TV. You should be comfortable going through lots of video footage, sending emails, organizing content, editing photos, figuring out workflows, and ideally passionate about music and video. The internship is unpaid; but you will get lots of editing experience, snacks, and free tickets to shows and performances. Ideally you can meet at least 1 day a week in the afternoon at our studio in North Oakland, just 6 blocks from MacArthur BART. Please send a resume, cover letter, and any videos/stories/media links to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "intern."
